General faq

The Liminal App is available to all members or pupils determined by the organisation partnering with Liminal.

When your organisation completes the initial setup an email will go to your email with instructions on how to set up your Liminal app. You will be able to download it from the App Store or Google Play. Unfortunately Liminal is not on the consumer market (yet!)

No. Each user will create their own personalised pin-code to log in to their app and only the wellbeing manager will be able to see your support requests.

Of course. All of our contracts have a no lock-in guarantee, meaning you are free to cancel your subscription at any time. Your accounts will be deactivated at the end of your monthly billing period.

Your child’s data is securely stored in our cloud-based security system ensuring no young person’s information is compromised. Liminal Wellbeing take security seriously and have taken extra precautions to ensure sensitive information is stored safely. No third parties have access to your child’s personal information. If you still wish to remove your child from participating in the Liminal program, get in touch with your organisation to withdraw your child.

The Liminal management system has more than one way to identify individuals who are showing irregularities or changes in any areas of their wellbeing. The Liminal program sends alerts and provides the information schools need to identify students and be proactive in their approach. It is up to the school’s wellbeing team to determine the next steps, to ensure the student is well supported.

If your child has a pre-existing mental health condition, we advise that you inform the school so they are aware and can ensure that they are meeting the needs of your child. Liminal Wellbeing will not require your child to specify if they have a pre-existing mental health condition in their Liminal profile.

Each organisation is set up with their own individual Liminal Wellbeing portal to manage and respond to the individual profiles within their organisation. For further information, please refer to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

We are happy to answer any questions you may have, big or small. As part of the onboarding process, Liminal will host an information evening at the beginning of the onboarding process and we urge all parents to attend. We run you through the program, the resources your child will have access to and answer any questions you may have. Our program has every young person’s best interest at the core of our values, we want to educate, support, and inspire a nation of young resilient individuals, become independent people of tomorrow.

Eduaction institutes FAQ

Yes. Upon confirmation that your school will take on the Liminal program, our team will provide your school with links to our privacy policy and consent forms. These documents require signatures from each student’s parents/guardian, prior to the commencement date of the Liminal program. Alternate options require agreement between Liminal and your school.

Liminal Wellbeing takes a different approach to encouraging students to be transparent with how they are feeling each day. Our student app gives young people actionable resources and stories to help inspire them to begin incorporating healthy behaviours into their routine and supports other offerings your school may already have.

Liminal Wellbeing enables each student to access youth services, Kids Helpline, Headspace and Beyond Blue, through the support function of their Liminal App. If the schools feels like they are not equipped with supporting a specific student, they are encouraged to reach out to their local Headspace centre.
