General faq
Who is the Liminal app for?
The Liminal App is available to all members or pupils determined by the organisation partnering with Liminal.
Where can I access the Liminal App?
When your organisation completes the initial setup an email will go to your email with instructions on how to set up your Liminal app. You will be able to download it from the App Store or Google Play. Unfortunately Liminal is not on the consumer market (yet!)
Can my anyone else see if I make a support request to the well-being team?
No. Each user will create their own personalised pin-code to log in to their app and only the wellbeing manager will be able to see your support requests.
If Liminal isn’t right for us, can we opt out?
Of course. All of our contracts have a no lock-in guarantee, meaning you are free to cancel your subscription at any time. Your accounts will be deactivated at the end of your monthly billing period.

The Liminal management system has more than one way to identify individuals who are showing irregularities or changes in any areas of their wellbeing. It is up to the school’s wellbeing team to determine the next steps, to ensure the student is well supported.
My child has a pre-existing mental health condition, how will Liminal Wellbeing cater for their needs?
If your child has a pre-existing mental health condition, we advise that you inform the school so they are aware and can ensure that they are meeting the needs of your child. Liminal Wellbeing will not require your child to specify if they have a pre-existing mental health condition in their Liminal profile.
Where will my child’s personal and sensitive information go?
Each organisation is set up with their own individual Liminal Wellbeing portal to manage and respond to the individual profiles within their organisation. For further information, please refer to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

Eduaction institutes FAQ
Will minors require parental consent prior to using Liminal?
Yes. Upon confirmation that your school will take on the Liminal program, our team will provide your school with links to our privacy policy and consent forms. These documents require signatures from each student’s parents/guardian, prior to the commencement date of the Liminal program. Alternate options require agreement between Liminal and your school.
We already have a system in place to review our student’s wellbeing, why should we change?
Liminal Wellbeing takes a different approach to encouraging students to be transparent with how they are feeling each day. Our student app gives young people actionable resources and stories to help inspire them to begin incorporating healthy behaviours into their routine and supports other offerings your school may already have.
If we are a school with limited resources yet being overwhelmed with the amount of student support requests, do we have access to extra help and professional advice?
Liminal Wellbeing enables each student to access youth services, Kids Helpline, Headspace and Beyond Blue, through the support function of their Liminal App. If the schools feels like they are not equipped with supporting a specific student, they are encouraged to reach out to their local Headspace centre.
